What is the N.B.C.S.F.?
How is it financed?
The Fund is qualified to accept tax-deductible donations of money and/or property.
Gifts of any amount are welcome at any time and may be acknowledged or anonymous. A notification is sent to the family if the gift is a memorial. The Fund also acknowledges gifts recognizing special occasions, individuals, and organizations.
Since its founding in 1990, the North Bend Community Scholarship Fund has received contributions from more than 2,183 individuals and organizations.
How does a student apply?
Applications are available annually, mid-December through the current year’s deadline, on the Application page. A candidate completes only one form to be eligible for all programs for which they may qualify.
What are the selection criteria?
The Selection Committee may consider one or more of the following: Academic Excellence, Special Merit or Financial Need.
When are awards announced?
Current NBHS seniors are notified at the NBHS spring awards ceremony. Past NBHS graduate awardees are notified by email to the address provided on their application. An award recipient list will also be posted on the website.
